Kevin Moodley CA(SA) is the Director of Financial Services Technology at BDO South Africa, where he leads technology-driven audit and risk strategies for a diverse portfolio of financial services clients. With deep expertise in emerging technology risk, AI adoption, and digital finance transformation, Kevin specializes in integrating technology into audit methodologies across corporate and investment banking, treasury, credit, retail and business banking, stockbroking, and insurance. Prior to joining BDO, he held senior roles in technology advisory at KPMG South Africa, advising financial institutions on leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges. A Chartered Accountant (SA) and member of SAICA, Kevin holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town, and is a recognized thought leader on the responsible use of AI to modernize the finance function while effectively managing emerging risks.
